ANNUAL FLAPJACK 5K
The Optimist Club of Jasper held their annual Flapjack Run in downtown Jasper on Saturday morning June 20th. Over 220 runners enjoyed racing down South Main Street and back followed by a pancake breakfast provided by 61 Main. A great tee shirt is provided each year! Each year the Optimist Club of Jasper holds their annual Scholarship Golf Tournament. This tournament is supported by our community to fund our STAR Student Scholarships as well as
our Von J. Hinton Memorial Citizenship Awards and Tommy Shaw Memorial Award and much more. The tournament is usually held mid-May at Bent Tree golf course.
